When we rented this house (via VRBO), I really appreciated interacting directly with the owner, Polly. I heard directly from her to my email inquiries, rather than from an agency as with some other places. I received answers to my questions and I understood exactly what was included and what this house and its environment would be like. For other rental properties that is not always the case. This house rents typically Saturday to Saturday. Originally, we were going to fly in different days and we had to shift our travel plans to accommodate their schedule. Our family of five loved our week at this house. It makes such a difference to rent a house and have full privacy and to cook your own meals. Our kids swam the whole time in our own pool or from our own private beach area. The house is in a quiet and private residential neighborhood. We barely saw any neighbors and didn't hear any other people or noises. We loved having a quiet beach and pool spot. When we wanted more beach space, we drove a few minutes to Sapodilla Bay or even further to Grace Bay. The weather on Grace Bay was stormier than our south side while we were there, so we preferred the south side of the island. The drive between downtown and the south side of the island is industrial, so it is not an inspiring area until you reach Chalk Sound, but it reflects this area of the island. Chalk Sound and Silly Creek include lovely small beaches, privacy and lovely snorkeling. We loved being able to walk out into sandy water and instantly snorkel in coral. We saw a ray, a lobster and so many beautiful fish along our shore. I spent hours each day just snorkeling along the rocky coast and coral near our beach area. I loved seeing the fish in the coral and along our coast. It was quiet and beautiful. We also liked cooking and eating at home. The kitchen is a standard kitchen with pots and pans and a large set of dishes and equipment. The stovetop is electric and there is a grill outside. We grilled our own meats and fish and ate in the screened porch, which was great. We did experience quite a few biting bugs inside at night. All of us were bitten while sleeping, so I recommend keeping all screen doors closed. There are tons of mosquitoes and flies. The house has a lovely open floor plan and all rooms have sliding doors with screen doors which open to the outside. We used the ceiling fans in all rooms all the time, and never used the AC. It was cool at night in March. The only room without good airflow is the kids' room downstairs with the twin beds. The only thing I would update is the shower heads in both bathrooms. There is a washer and dryer, but when it came time to wash our clothes at the end of our stay, there was no laundry detergent and we didn't have time to go out to buy any. Luckily, I had still had a bag of some in my luggage from a previous trip, so we were able to wash some clothes for our boys. We had also read about water and sand toys and snorkeling gear for kids, but we didn't find much of that in the laundry room. Perhaps that has disappeared over the years or fallen into disrepair. We enjoyed and would recommend a boat tour with Outback Adventures and a few dinners out, such as at Da Conch Shack and Baci Ristorante. Overall, it was a lovely, private place to stay. If we return to TCI, we would stay here again.
We stayed at the Oceanside Tower Villa for 2 weeks in June/July & the property did not disappoint. The home was located in a quiet & safe neighborhood full of beautiful homes. The house was spotless w/more than enough room for everyone. The kitchen is larger than it appears in the photos, the great room had room for everyone, and the tower room was a nice quiet retreat where you could see the ocean on one side and Chalk Sound on the other side w/the most incredible blue water you could ever imagine. Many days we stayed at the villa & enjoyed just sitting by the pool and snorkeling right out our back door. We snorkeled every single day and saw plenty of marine life right there at the villa. There is a grocery store about 10-15 minutes away and a larger one further in town. We had most of our meals at the villa. The kitchen was very well equipped w/anything you could need. There was also a grill outside which was very handy. We would usually sit outside at the table by the pool for dinner, except if we were eating late, then we would eat in the screen house as it could get buggy when the sun goes down. There is also a glass table in the great room for another option if you want to eat inside with a view of the ocean. There was a king size bedroom upstairs with a slider to the deck, a walk in closet, and an ensuite bathroom. Downstairs there was a small bedroom with two twin beds, another bedroom with a king set up (2 twins together), and a slider with an ocean view. You could walk right out to the ocean from in front of your room. The last bedroom had a queen size bed and a slider to the outside door. There was also a bathroom downstairs that connected the two larger bedrooms. You would walk down a little walkway to get to the ocean. When it was high tide you would step into very shallow water, but when it was low tide you would have a soft sandy beach area. The water was shallow quite a ways out and very calm..... never a problem for the younger kids in our party. The house was equipped with some floats, as well as some spare snorkel equipment. There were handy guides and maps, and we ate at many of the recommended restaurants. Nearby, we took a snorkel excursion from Sapodilla bay (Ocean Outback Adv), a tour on Chalk Sound from Las Brisas, visited Sapodilla Bay, and Taylor Bay. We drove to the Grace Bay area for a couple excursions and shopping, but were happy to return to the peace and quiet of Oceanside Tower!

We had a great stay at Oceanside. The view, the pool, and the ocean were amazing. There was room to relax alone but it was also so cozy that the family could be together and enjoy cards, board games etc. together at night. Every detail seemed covered, beach towels, snorkel equipment, a detailed owners book with helpful advice. (We used this advice to flag down a local fisherman and bought some fresh snapper fish for dinner). The grounds are so well maintained. It was an absolute find and we will be back!!!

A fabulous home in a stunning location with spectacular snorkeling and sunsets. The house has all you need for cooking, relaxing, entertaining and we felt so much at home here! The pool is heavenly with everything you need. We will definitely rent this home again and I miss it already!!

Two weeks of fabulous vacation in this villa and you never want to go home, just like we did. Clean and spacious - check. Complete amenities - check. Tasteful interior design - check. Beautiful furnishings - check. Magnificent views - check. Ideal location - check. Infinity pool - check. I'm just lost for words describing this gorgeous villa. I guarantee you though, those pictures you see, reality was waaaaay better than that! Incredible, right?

When you enter Oceanside Tower Villa, you will see a sign that reads "Another Day in Paradise". This sign neither exaggerates nor disappoints. We have just returned from two glorious weeks in a most beautiful setting. This was our fourth trip to Turks and Caicos, and - by far - the most wonderful and memorable. Our deepest decisions were whether to laze on the deck, float in the infinity pool or swim in the magnificent turquoise waters of the southern side of Provo. Or, just stare at the water, and watch nature unfold. From the pool, we were able to see turtles and nurse sharks swimming by in the ocean, and we had an eagle ray duo that greeted us each morning as we had breakfast on the deck. The serenity and solitude of Oceanside Tower provided us with an extraordinary experience. The southern exposure allowed us to view magnificent sunsets every evening. On the other side of the island from the hotel strip on Grace Bay (but only a 15-minute drive should one wish to dine at one of Provo's wonderful restaurants), Oceanside Tower was truly exceptional. We are already looking forward to our next visit to Paradise.

We just got back from a week in paradise at the Oceanside Tower Villa. We strongly agree with the owner's description of the house and previous reviewers. Only positive experiences to share! A few highlights of the house include: 1) Located in a quiet, yet convenient part of town: Situated ~15 minutes away from the airport, it is an easy drive to many tasty restaurants and the best beaches. We enjoyed the neighborhood feel during our stay and felt very safe taking walks/runs in the morning. It was a nice break from city sounds to fall asleep to the sound of crashing ocean waves each night. 2) Good layout to suit many type of travelers: Our group consisted of four adults and one toddler. The party of three stayed on the lower level (walk out basement) which has three bedrooms and one jack-n-Jill bathroom. The other couple stayed in the master on the main floor which has an ensuite bathroom. Also on the main floor are a spacious kitchen and living room, screened-in porch, and an open porch. The open porch is every vacationer's dream – breath-taking view, infinity pool, comfortable lounge chairs, hammock, outdoor dining area, grill, and stairs down to the ocean. The top level is a single room in the tower with a 360 view and an awesome breeze! 3) Save your suitcase room for some snacks (food is expensive on the island) and only pack the basics: The house has any kitchen gadget, linen, or beach toy you might need. There is even a washer and dryer as well as several clothes racks so only need to pack your beach wear (in general, attire on island is very casual) and toiletries. We particularly liked that the house has a crib to make travel with a toddler easy and the endless number of movie choices and books to keep us entertained in the evenings. The welcome guide had good recommendations to the island's best restaurants and beaches.

This review is for a 5 night stay I made with 2 others from Friday, August 21st through Wednesday August 26th, 2015. What a delightful, restful, and peaceful vacation!!! I am so happy to have discovered the Ocean Tower Villa, and affirm all the positive things said in previous reviews. Where to start? The view from the villa is amazing! When one first walks into the villa the view of the ocean captures the attention immediately. Pictures do not do it justice – no clever angles or photo filters needed to make this view look spectacular. It was so gorgeous, expansive, and tranquil. The porch and infinity pool, which are indeed larger than they look in the photos, provided the perfect place to enjoy the view from early morning till sunset. Even at night it was wonderful to relax in the pool and enjoy the moonlight and the sound of the ocean. If you have a good camera bring it because you will be able to get some great photos of your family and friends with the amazing view. The neighborhood itself was very quiet. The landscaping around the villa was beautiful and helped add to the sense of privacy; I was hardly aware that there were houses next to us. There was also easy access to the ocean just a few steps from the house. I was not sure how I would feel about not having a sandy beach to access the ocean, but it turned out to be a blessing. When we drove down to the super-close Taylor and Sapodilla Bays (2 & 5 minutes respectively), we were still able to enjoy a very quiet, peaceful, and uncrowded beach experience, but while at the villa we did not have to worry about any strangers parking themselves in front us since all the beaches in Provo are public, and still had the relaxing experience of being right on the ocean. Even at high tide the water right near the house is shallow, easy to access, and has super soft sand. We also thought it was wonderful to have great shallow snorkeling experience just a few feet from the house – we saw many colorful fish, star fish, and even a sea turtle hanging around in the "backyard". The water was clear and calm, though on a couple of windy days the snorkeling visibility was not quite as good. I should mention that there were plenty of floats, masks, and other swimming supplies available at the house. The villa itself is quite beautiful and well appointed. Every room was spacious, and most are in fact bigger than they look in the photos. The kitchen and main living area are big and open with high ceilings and with walls of large sliding glass doors that give one constant access to the beautiful view. The master bedroom on the main floor was spacious, comfortable, and had a spectacular view and what was in effect a private balcony. The other 2 bedrooms we used on the lower level were also bright, spacious and comfortable; one had a beautiful view of the ocean and the other a garden view. To be honest though very little time was spent in the bedrooms as the rest of the house, deck, and pool were so inviting. I should mention that since it is very warm this time of year, it was great to have air-conditioning in the bedrooms. During the day, the warmth was not much of an issue though because we were mostly outside in the ocean or in and out of the pool anyway. We did not use any of the electronic entertainment equipment, but it all looked to be in good order, and we were glad it was there as an option. The Internet worked perfectly, and it was great to be able to do any research of restaurants, directions, etc. we needed while at the house; there was also local phone service which allowed us to make reservations from the house phone. This kept us from needing to get a local SIM card, and to be honest being disconnected while making excursions away from the house really added to the relaxation. Lastly, the kitchen had everything we needed, and all the appliances were in working order; the outdoor grill was an added bonus and was well maintained. The villa is located in what I considered to be the ideal location on the island. It offered calm quiet privacy while still offering easy access to the more active beaches and restaurants of Grace Bay. One should certainly rent a car; this was my first time driving in a foreign country, but the island's traffic is so low-key and the roads so straightforward that I had no problem whatsoever getting around without GPS. If we had stayed at Grace Bay, I know we would probably not have bothered to check out this wonderful side of the island and would have missed out on the quiet, restful vacation I was looking for. While we choose to take a daily excursion from the house to Grace Bay, Turtle Cove, some restaurants, etc.; I can easily see someone being quite content buying groceries and staying put at the house the whole time; especially since Taylor Bay which gives one a spectacular and peaceful beach experience is just a brief walk away, and one can even see Chalk Sound across the street from the front of the house. I should also mention that it was great being close to the small airport – we were able to begin our vacation quickly once arriving. I should mention that despite only being 10 to 15 minutes away from the airport, we never heard or saw any planes from the property. I feel like this villa offers the best of everything one could want in a Caribbean vacation – privacy, ocean-front with gorgeous view, comfort, safety, easy access to restaurants and other excursions, etc. It is hard to imagine what else someone might want. The only people who might be disappointed are those who need to be in the middle of everything all the time, or those who want a level of luxury that I was not looking for. I could go on and on about how wonderful this villa and Turks and Caicos are, but I will end by complementing the owner and the management of the property. I so deeply appreciated speaking with Polly the owner on the phone before reserving the property. She was super helpful, friendly, and direct with what to expect at the time of year we were looking at traveling - the fact that it would be particularly warm, that it was indeed hurricane system, cost of food is relatively high, etc. Having the management team meet up with us to take us to the house was also a huge blessing and started the vacation off right by alleviating any anxieties or concerns one might have when arriving in a new place; it was also great to know we could contact someone locally if we had any problems. This property is wonderful in every respect, and I think most people will experience it as better than advertised. I cannot wait to return in the future. Thank you Polly for a dream vacation experience.

We just got back from a week in paradise at the Oceanside Tower Villa. We strongly agree with the owner's description of the house and previous reviewers. Only positive experiences to share! A few highlights of the house include: In a word - location, location, location! Oceanside Tower gives you the best of both worlds in Turks and Caicos villas: The privacy and seclusion of quiet Silly Creek Estates, yet close to town and shops, restaurants and sand beaches. Many villas are far from town, hard to get to, away from the water, or in crowded Grace Bay - something they don't advertise. Oceanside Tower is a quick and easy 15 minute drive from town and the airport, 10 minutes from the market, and 5 minutes from white sandy beaches, yet still feels a million miles from anywhere when you get there. Oceanside Tower has it all - spectacular views, gorgeous sunsets, private, secluded low-tide beach, infinity-edged pool, and a screened porch to enjoy the evenings outdoors. Not that you would want to leave once you arrive, but if you do wish to venture out for a hike, shopping, a round of golf, dining, or a day at one of Provo's famous white-sand beaches - it's very easy.

We just returned from a week long stay at Oceanside Towers and could not say enough lovely things about this villa. The view is spectacular. Staring over the edge of your infinity pool straight across to Turtle Rock, with nothing but turquoise water in between. At night, you can sit out on the deck and watch the most beautiful sunsets. It's a few steps down the private path to a little low tide beach where you can walk out into the water or swim out for some fantastic snorkeling. We went to Grace Bay once for lunch, and decided to never leave our little area again. With Las Brisas, Sapodilla Bay, Taylor Bay and Chalk Sound all within a stone's throw, we were happy to stay local for the entire week. The house itself had everything we needed. Bedrooms were all comfortable and spacious enough to fit our family of five. Interiors were also comfortable and perfect for beach front living. And, plenty of outdoor sunning chairs and board games! Would highly recommend.
